a blog – the point?

You know, this is the first time I’ve ever actually owned a blog and written something on it. Once before I had one, but it wasn’t exactly a venture that I took very seriously. There’s something about blogs that strikes me as rather… pointless. I don’t think anyone really reads these, and people that do only read them in hopes that other people will come back and read their equally uninteresting blogs in return.  A journal hasn’t ever been a real project of mine, so I figure I might as well start what amounts to the closest thing to an e-journal.

So, in which case, you may be wondering why I’m starting a blog. Frankly, I’m wondering the same thing. My thoughts are likely to be just as uninteresting to you as they are to me. Well, that’s not quite true — I find my thoughts fascinating, but that’s more likely due to my severe attention deficiency and my ability to find humor in just about anything. Gets me into trouble sometimes, that.

The bottom line? I really don’t know why I’m starting this. I thought maybe you all oughta know that.
